This is a live recorded episode from the Connected in Motion virtual slipstream event in April 2021. I’m joined by Chelcie and Natalie to discuss living with complications of type 1 diabetes. It’s an open and honest conversation and some topics we discuss may cause upset. The overall takeaway is that we should be having conversations about this topic to take away the fear related to complications. The reason, life still goes on after being diagnosed with complications.
Connected in Motion creates a culture of support and engagement in diabetes self-management through experiential diabetes education and outdoor adventure pursuits. By creating a community that is motivating, supporting, and inspiring individuals to take charge of their health today, we are helping to improve the quality of life for people with diabetes now and tomorrow.
